The prospect relationship manager that fills itself from reality.

Balance runs an enterprise sales method on your calls, for a founder who was never taught one. It records on your own machine, knows what you sell because you told it once, and holds both sides to what they promised. A CRM runs the whole customer lifecycle. Balance is built for the one window that decides it: getting you from zero to one.

Public beta coming soon.

The problem

Nobody taught you to sell. So you wing it and call it instinct.

Here is the part nobody says out loud: I am not a great salesperson. What won was never me. It was the system I was handed, one piece at a time, over fifteen years.

You do not have fifteen years. You have a product and a calendar.

01

Nobody is coaching you.

An enterprise seller gets a manager, a methodology, and their calls reviewed every week. You get a calendar invite and a hope. The gap between you and them was never talent. Somebody taught them a system, and nobody has taught you one.

02

You are the CRM.

The pipeline lives in your head, somewhere between a Slack thread and a note you meant to write down. That works fine until there are nine deals, and then it stops working, and you find out which one it was after it has already gone quiet.

03

You forget what they told you.

In March the buyer said budget was approved. In June they say it never was. You know what they said. You cannot find it, and you are not going to argue with a customer out of memory.

04

So you guess, and call it a forecast.

"Call went well." "They seem interested." Those are not facts, they are feelings. And right now they are what your next quarter is built on, because there is nothing else in there.

So I built the system into software, and pointed it at the founder I used to be.

It took fifteen years to assemble. It should take you an afternoon.

Jay · founder of Balance

The category

Not a CRM.
A PRM.

A prospect relationship manager. Change one word of the acronym, and you change the entire job.

Salesforce and HubSpot were built to run the whole customer journey, from first touch to renewal to churn. Balance does the one thing they treat as just another stage: the window where a prospect becomes a customer. Nobody else was built exclusively for it. That is the category, and it is the whole reason Balance exists.

The Brain

It knows what you sell. Because you told it once.

Every AI note taker walks into your call knowing nothing about you. Balance walks in knowing your company. Before the first call you fill in one profile: what you sell, what you charge, who you sell to, who you lose to, who you walk away from, and the proof you are cleared to quote. Nineteen fields. We call it the Brain. It is a profile, not a mind.

Filling it in

Paste your website. It reads the rest.

Balance reads your public pages and fills in what it can find, then asks you about the handful of things a website never says out loud. Hand it your own documents too: txt, md, pdf, docx. Or download the blank template, write it in your own editor, and import it back.

Trust

Nothing it read is settled until you say so.

Facts it pulled off your site stay marked unconfirmed, and they stay marked all the way into the prompt. What you typed or confirmed yourself is never overwritten by a later crawl. Every fact keeps its source, down to the line it came from. After ninety days it asks you to look again.

What changes

It writes like somebody who works here.

Your meeting notes, your follow-up drafts, your recall answers and your loss autopsies are written by something that already knows what you sell and what you charge. A draft will never state an unconfirmed price, metric or customer name as though you promised it. Name your competitors and it recognises them when a buyer brings one up.

Custody

It stays on your machine.

The profile lives in a database on your own computer. Export it to Markdown whenever you want, edit it anywhere, import it back and it round-trips exactly. In privacy mode your own local model does the reading, and Balance tells you which machine is about to read your pricing before you press the button.

What it does not do: it does not learn from your calls, and it does not get smarter as you sell.

You tell it, or it does not know. Skip the whole thing and Balance behaves exactly as it did before, which is a promise we hold with a test that fails if it ever stops being true. Every other page on the internet would have called this an AI brain. It is a form you fill in once, and it is worth more than the adjective.

The platform

Five things your CRM
refuses to do.

Balance isn’t a nicer CRM. It’s a prospect relationship manager: a system with opinions about what truth is, what a relationship is, and when a deal has earned the right to move.
Capture01

Reality, not recollection.

Every call, captured verbatim and structured against the account. Every commitment logged the moment it's made. Reps don't type. The truth just lands.

Not another summary. A source of record.

Balance02

The relationship ledger.

Give and get, tracked across every stakeholder. When you're asking too much, or they're going quiet, you see it before the deal does.

No CRM measures reciprocity.

Deliverables03

Promises that can't disappear.

Everything you owe, everything they owe, and when. Front and center on the account.

Follow-through, made structural.

Method04

Gates the deal must earn.

Encode MEDDPICC as evidence gates. Deals can't advance without proof: a champion, a pain, an event.

Discipline enforced by the system.

Forecast05

A number you can defend.

Every stage transition backed by evidence: MEDDPICC captured on the call and stage criteria proven, not a self-asserted probability. The number you commit is one you can defend to your board, your CFO, yourself.

Hope is not a forecasting methodology.

The category-defining idea

Deals don’t die from bad activity.
They die from unbalanced relationships.

Every CRM counts activity: emails sent, calls logged, stages moved. None of it answers the question that decides the deal. Is this relationship reciprocal, or are you quietly running it into the ground?

Balance makes the relationship a first-class object with a ledger of every open commitment on both sides, and how well each of you keeps them. When the give stops matching the get, you see it before the deal does.

How it works

One loop, running under
every deal you touch.

Step 01On-device

Capture the reality.

No bot joins the room. The room shows two people, and two people are in it. Balance records the call on your own machine, and the transcript lands in the account: the real words, not a rep's spin.

Step 02Balance core

Extract the truth.

Stakeholders, commitments, objections, pains. Pulled from the transcript by AI you control: your own key, or a local model that never leaves your machine.

Pain · audit trail
Step 03Ledger

Keep balance visible.

The account view shows the next right action, both sides' open commitments, and where the relationship is drifting.

Step 04Method

Enforce the gate.

Stage transitions require proof: named champion, quantified pain, compelling event. No overrides.

✓ Champion✗ Pain
Step 05CRM writeback

Write it where you work.

Already on HubSpot or Salesforce? The deal, its MEDDPICC evidence, and the meeting note land in your CRM. Blank fields get filled. Fields your reps own are left alone.

Balance keeps both sides’ open commitments in view. When you’re taking more than you’re giving, you see it and can restore the balance before the deal tips.

On the record

Correct anything. The change is on the record forever.

Most of what Balance holds came off a real call. Fix something by hand and the log keeps who changed it, what it said before, and when. Nothing is ever rewritten or deleted, enforced in the database itself.

Ownership

The call never leaves your machine.

When a recording lives in someone else’s cloud, retention is a decision they make, it changes with a terms update you’ll never read, and it outlives the day you stop paying. Your customer’s data is the most important thing you hold. Balance keeps it yours.
On-device01

No bot. No cloud recorder.

Balance records and transcribes every call on your own computer, and keeps your history in a database on your machine. No bot in the room. No audio streamed to a vendor cloud.

No third party in the room. None holding the file.

Your model02

Bring your own key. Or your own AI.

Point Balance at your own frontier model, or run it fully local in privacy mode and reach the cloud only when you choose. Vendor-agnostic, model-agnostic. Swap the model in two minutes.

How much should a model provider see? Your call, not a default's.

Custody03

Yours, even if we vanish.

Stop paying, or Balance goes away, and everything you captured stays right where it is: on your device. The tools you left keep your recordings anyway.

It's not yours. It's theirs. Not here.

Who it’s for

Built for founders who were never taught to sell.

Solopreneur · zero to one

You have never sold anything.

You built it. Now somebody has to sell it, and that somebody is you. Balance runs an enterprise sales method on your calls, so you are not inventing one between demos.

  • A method, not a course
  • The follow-up written for you
  • Nothing left to memory

Founder · first customers

You are selling and building at once.

Every call is a context switch away from the product. Balance holds what was said, keeps both sides to what they promised, and hands you the next right action so the deal doesn't go quiet while you ship.

  • Commitments that don't vanish
  • No CRM to fill in
  • Rigor without hiring a consultant

Founder · a team under five

You can sell. They can't yet.

You closed the first ones yourself. Now a few people are doing it in your name and you can't sit on every call. Balance puts all of you on one method, checked against what was actually said.

  • One method, not five styles
  • Coaching from evidence, not memory
  • No RevOps hire to run it

Why now

A category is forming.
Most of it is auto-fill.

AI is coming for the CRM. But the first wave is aimed at the wrong problem. Filling fields faster. A better-populated fiction is still a fiction. Balance is being built to automate truth instead.

FAQ

Questions we get,
answered plainly.

Missing something? Send us a note.

  • No, and that is the point. Balance is a prospect relationship manager, a PRM. A CRM runs the whole customer lifecycle, from first touch to renewal. Balance is built only for the part before that: turning prospects into customers. It runs one of two ways. If you don't have an enterprise CRM yet, Balance is your system of record throughout the sales process: accounts, deals, commitments, and a forecast built from what was actually said. If you already pay for HubSpot or Salesforce, keep it. Balance captures the call and writes the deal, the MEDDPICC evidence, and the meeting note into your CRM, filling what reps leave blank and never overwriting a field they own. Both writebacks are shipped and working in the beta today. Either way, we are not here to replace your CRM. We are here to speed up the process to where you can afford the enterprise one.
